Direct your own story in this FMV game
Agarta is a choice-based action game where you will determine how the story of Cerrah, the main character, plays out. This program by FF Digital makes use of full-motion video, rather than making use of computer graphics. With this format, you can fully immerse yourself in the story.
Similar to Late Shift, all of the decisions you make in Agarta ultimately affect what type of ending you get or what route you will have to play through. Players should note, however, that this indie game features mature content in the forms of violence and gore.
Create your own cinematic experience
Agarta makes use of 4k-quality videos to narrate the story, which truly adds to the visual appeal of the game. It also employs a Temperament Model where the main character’s qualities and personality are affected by your actions. You will be able to view the effects of each option you chose and how they affected Cerrah at the end of each run.
With over 100 choices to choose from, there are 22 possible endings for you to discover. In order to make it feel even more lifelike, you are not allowed to backtrack or undo your decisions. You will need to play through the entire game and start over if you want to pick a different option. It also plays continuously so the story flows smoothly and naturally.
In order to play the game, however, you will need to have a minimum of 40 GB of free space on your device. Ideally, it is better to have around 65 GB of free space left in order to accommodate the entire game. This requirement is due to the large number of high-resolution clips that are used within the program.
Worth the demanding system requirements
Sixty-five GB of free space is a lot to ask from players, but the game experience fully makes up for it. Agarta lets you enjoy a story that’s both compelling and visually attractive. With your choices branching out into different scenarios, you have the ability to create a unique narrative that feels like a film that you created on your own.
